Center for Healing and Life Transformation was developed in 2012 as an alternative to drug rehabs and psychiatric centers and bridged the gap in between. Everyone is on a different program at the center. For some people it is our Pathways Addiction Treatment program. for others it is one of our depression, BPD or borderline personality disorder programs. For others it is a combination of issues that have held them back or manifested into issues that block them from living their best lives today. Everybody is different and so should their healing programs be different.
The Center takes a small amount of people at a time. It is located a few hundred metres from the endless white, sandy beaches. The humble center is a home, with 180 degree sea views and private en suite rooms. We have multiple property options, as well as our main centers accommodation. Tennis, squash, two swimming pools, full gym contracts and safe and secure accommodation is provided to clients. Satellite television, wifi and other basic creature comforts from home ensure you will be able to settle in, relax and unwind and get on with the healing work; the very core of what we do is in this unique work.
Established in 2012 by Mark L Lockwood BA(psy)(hons), we work with a now formulated and regular team of consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and doctors. On the other side of the spectrum, last but not least, we do mindfulness, yoga, meditation and top end self actualization and personal development work. It is in this combination that much of the magic lies. Our core staff are highly degreed in the areas of human sciences and psychology. Add to this rock solid scientific base are modern, deeply spiritual insights and practices that combine together to make sure our clients live the lives they have always wanted to. The addiction, depression and anxiety treatments offered are second to none. Our mental health healing center is very different from a standard clinic or rehabilitation centre and we are leading the way in both healing and transformation on deep, sustainable levels for our clients.
The emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual work you will do takes place in the breath-taking area of Plettenberg Bay, known as the Monaco of South Africa, in the Western Cape, just 45 minutes from Cape Town. Surrounded by Nature Reserves, Beaches, the world famous Knysna forests and the majesty of the warm Indian Ocean gives us the best of both worlds. From experiencing The Big 5 through to skydiving, snorkeling, hiking and game drives or whale watching, we really do have it all, as far as nature is concerned. There is something different to do in Plettenberg Bay each day for a year! There is no shortage of nurturing through nature.
